About Us
Huntey’s Clubhouse
Established in 1995, Huntey’s Clubhouse has grown from an in-home daycare to six early learning and child care centers across west central Michigan. Quality child care was at the heart of our business in the beginning and remains our number one focus today. We offer safe, nurturing care for infants through school age children, along with established preschool programs.
Safety
Our Centers are intentionally designed to provide a safe and optimal early childhood experience. Team members provide active supervision and follow policies that are in place to keep children safe.

Facilitating Development
Early childhood learning is at the forefront of our mission. We follow an industry leading curriculum to enable the development of motor, social, and learning skills. Ensuring the continuous education and development of our team holds significant importance.
Community
Our approach to Community has four prongs: parental involvement, communication between our team members, connecting with our communities and philanthropy.
At Huntey’s Clubhouse, we feel that each child is an individual with a distinct personality, temperament, and learning capability. We strive to distinguish every child’s ability and comfort level to help them in their social, emotional, and intellectual development.
We understand how important the early years are to your child. This is a time of remarkable growth, when children are experiencing rapid development, learning new skills, and progressing steadily towards physical, intellectual, and social-emotional milestones! With that in mind, we believe good nutrition is so important for growing children as it supports their overall health and development. Providing a child with nutrient-dense meals enables them to actively engage in the classroom and better manage their emotions. We strive to provide nutritious meals, using a variety of ingredients, that children enjoy eating.
With trained caregivers and experienced teachers at their side, children at Huntey’s Clubhouse and The Preschool Academy are assured of getting the care that they need, the creative learning experiences they enjoy, and the intellectually challenging opportunities they deserve. Our programs are created for infants, toddlers, preschool, and school age children. We believe in play-based learning to create stimulating and enjoyable environments that encourage curiosity and active participation, laying a strong foundation for future academic success.
Our curriculums meet the standards set by Michigan Early Learning and National Association for the Education of Young Children. Our infant and toddler classrooms utilize a program developed by local educators, who have the awareness and skillset to meet the needs of the children in our communities. The Preschool Academy uses Creative Curriculum, a comprehensive, research-based curriculum that features exploration and discovery as a way of learning, enabling children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical-thinking skills. As children participate, they naturally grow in all areas of development, including social-emotional, physical, language and cognitive development. Progress is tracked throughout the year using assessments. Recommendations and observations are shared during our Family/Teacher conferences along with daily communication using the Procare app accessible to all parents.
