Enhanced Onboarding and Training
Our onboarding process includes the State of Michigan’s required training in health and safety, safe sleep practices, emergency preparedness, and sanitation, as well as up-to-date certifications in First Aid and CPR. We take it several steps further during a new team member’s onboarding process and new hire training. Curious? Ask us more about our new hire orientation and onboarding!
Education and Career Advancement
Many of our team members have higher education in the field of early childhood or are currently pursuing their degree! Everybody has the opportunity to pursue their Child Development Associate (CDA) at no cost with mentorship from our team.
Continuous Professional Development
Each month, team members receive 2 hours of continued education training to stay current with best practices and state regulations. See what your center is learning about in the monthly newsletter!
Strict Pre-Employment Screening
Prior to joining our team, all child care workers must undergo thorough background checks, including fingerprinting and criminal history checks.

At the SHIFT Childcare Leaders Conference, we entered a raffle to support BOOST by HINGE, a non-profit by HINGE Advisors that provides assistance to early educators in need. To our surprise, we won the grand prize- 2 Southwest Airlines tickets!!! 😲
It took about 1 minute to decide we wanted to pay this forward to our team. To make it even more special, we included a $1,000 travel stipend so the winner could enjoy a trip without the financial burden.
At our annual company party last month, we held a drawing for our amazing team members who have been with Huntey’s Clubhouse for 2+ years (shout out to all of you!!!). Keshia Aho was the lucky winner! 🎉
Keshia is a dedicated GSRP Teacher at our Howard City location. She is so deserving of this prize (and vacation!). She says,
