I’m thankful to be apart of a team that is passionate about bringing high quality child care services to the communities we serve. I enjoy applying my business development background to the childcare industry to grow our reach and be a positive force in the world.
Alexis developed her passion for early childhood education at an early age while working alongside her mother at the original Huntey’s Clubhouse location in Morley. Her hard work paid off as she went on to establish the second location in Big Rapids then ultimately taking over the entire business. Alexis holds a business degree from Ferris State University and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Northern Michigan University. As a MiRegistry Certified Trainer in the State of Michigan, she is committed to equipping teachers with the best tools and knowledge for early learning. Alexis enjoys staying active with outdoor activities, such as exercising and horseback riding, and spending time with her husband, four children, two dogs, and two horses.
I believe early childhood education is one of the most rewarding careers to have. Every day I have the opportunity to serve children and caregivers who selflessly care and educate our future leaders l
LeAnne lives in Big Rapids with her husband and three children. She graduated from Ferris State University with degree in Early Childhood Education and has been a dedicated member of the Huntey’s Clubhouse team for over six years. LeAnne’s journey has been a true testament to hardwork and dedication. She began as an Intern and advanced to Assistant Teacher, Lead Teacher, Director, and now serves as the Executive Director. In this role, she oversees multiple centers, provides director support, and manages the CACFP (food program) and nutrition planning. Outside of work, LeAnne loves going on daytrip adventures with her family and spending summer days on the river.
I feel that working with children creates the foundation for development and education. I’m so thankful that I can work where I am fulfilled and where I can serve children and families in rural communities.
